Yesterday I got a few $5 Amazon gift cards post to my account through Swagbucks, so it’s time to do another giveaway.
Just an update on me, I’ve been sharing a few things about myself on Facebook that everyone has been so supportive and understand about, so here is what’s going on this weekend:
This weekend I am getting my OWN apartment (first time) I feel like a kid. We are basically moving just a few things into a bigger space. So it will be a good move, just trying to get furniture and other things will be tight. We will definitely be doing some Craigslist shopping since we need all furniture as well as stuff like microwave, plates, forks, spoons… *sigh* the list goes on.
I’ll do my best for some updates on the weekend, but I should be back and ready on Monday. I have several giveaways lined up, so hopefully that will make it up to you.
Also, I mentioned trying a new diet and medication to help me. I’ve been working hard the last two weeks and I’m down 6-8 pounds!

I am about to start graduate school in Pittsburgh. I’ve been working my entire life to study creative writing, and next week, I’ll really be doing it! I am so excited but really nervous at the same time. At least I’ve made my dreams come true!

Working out and getting ready to start my first semester of college monday
I’m actually getting back into working out regularly since the little one started kindergarten!! I have been eyeing the marisa tomei curves video and this would pay for almost all of it!!

I recently moved into my apartment (FIRST ONE TOO) the beg. of june. We still don’t have a couch and we just recently got a table and chairs. I have been doing some looking on craigslist as well. My boyfriend is definitely a procrastinator, but hopefully we will get all our furniture in the house soon! I wish the best to you and I hope you get everything you need to make your house a home!!!

Doing yard work this weekend.
I am going to have a BBQ tonight with my best friend and both of our families. I am giving her, her birthday present tonight in front of our families. I made it myself, a couple of things. Two different photos in frames. One with a nice poem, one made into a jewelry hanger. And I got her a $25 Giftcard to Kohls. I can’t wait to give it to her, I’m so excited, I just can’t hide it! LOL

I will be spending the weekend with my family. My husband has been working so hard & finally has an off day on Saturday so we are just going to spend the day together with our 3 year old son.
This weekend is family time, swimming in the pool and cookout. Starting to plan for my little girl’s first Christmas and Birthday which is 5 days after Christmas…double whammy so it’s only 5 bucks but it’ll help!
my sons birthday party is tomorrow night. i get to bake 5 dozen cupcakes. woohoo.. NOT lol..

My husband is only home 10 days a month due to his job and he will finally be home tonight around 10pm! So our weekend will be spent happily together and we are going to a local amusement park and living it up as a family. Then on Sunday we are going to enjoy a great meal of baked ribs, corn on the cob and collard greens. *squeals* I am SO elated!!!

Try the local thrift shops for some of your household needs and garage sales. The free or give away ads on CL and the newspapers are okay for stuff that “will do for now”. This weekend I will be doing the same thing, looking for stuff for my new town house in my new city. Kudos on the weight loss, you should be very proud of your self! Oh yeah, garage sale left overs can be pretty cool and inexpensive. Happy hunting!
I always use Amazon gift cards to buy books that I have been wanting and I save them up to cover the shipping. You might also want to check ebay classifieds or yardsellr.com to look for the items you need.

I just finished moving back into the dorms, this is my junior year of college. (Woot!) I also received an email from Napster saying my MP3 had shipped but we’ll see.

We moved over 3 years ago to our first house and it has been the best! We traveled 2K miles with a U-Haul and our cars hooked on the back.
The moving not so much fun, but once you get the most important things settled you will thank yourself a million for making the move.

This weekend is a relaxing weekend after the first week of school. I think im going to take the kiddos to the zoo and to the local splash pad. Being a single mom of two I don’t usually ever get to spend money on me. It’s always used for the kids. There are a couple books I have been wanting and a gift card would be great so it will be less money out of my pocket (that i really don’t have).
On the diet part, I hope you share some of your secrets with us. I could use them!! There is also a group on Yahoo called “Yahoo Recycles” You could also try there to look for some great deals. I have gotten some great things off there and some new things too! Good luck!
