Did you know October is National Pizza Month? I am teaming up with Mama Mary’s to tell you a bit about what they have going on. I even made my own original recipe with Mama Mary’s pizza crust.
Mama Mary’s Coupon Booklet
On specially marked packages of Mama Mary’s Pizza Crust from October through November at Walmart stores nationally, there will be a fold-out booklet with more than $5 in coupon in savings from Mama Mary’s Pizza Crusts and Pepperoni, Dole® Pineapple, Cabot® Cheese, Kikkoman® Teriyaki, Barilla® Sauce, and Filippo Berio® Olive Oil.
You can see the coupons on the crust I bought today. I used a few of them for the ingredients I purchased.
The booklet even has some recipes, but I thought I’d try my own with two of the ingredients (and some others) from the coupon booklet.
Chicken and Mushroom Teriyaki Pizza Recipe
Let me start off by telling you this was really good! I think we used a little too much teriyaki, but it’s a pizza. You can add as much or little of each ingredient as you like! I’ll list my ingredients and what you need, but you can judge how much of each you want to add. That’s one of my favorite things about homemade pizzas!
What You Need
Mama Mary’s® Pizza Crust
Filippo Berio® Olive Oil
Kikkoman® Teriyaki Sauce
Cheese (I used Mozzarella)
Preheat oven to 450.
Cut your chicken into small bite size pieces. Brown the chicken in olive oil and put aside.
Brush your Mama Mary’s crust with olive oil. Add your cheese, chicken, mushrooms, and grape tomatoes to the top of your crust.
Drizzle desired amount of teriyaki sauce over your pizza. You can use a squeeze bottle or spoon to drizzle it. Remember you can always add more later!
Turn the oven down to 425 and bake your pizza for 7:30-10 minutes. I left it for the full 10 minutes so the crust could get nice and crispy.
