Safeway/Vons Review and Giveaway
Ever since I was little our main grocery shopping has been done at Vons. After Vons card savings as well as getting items on sale, I can’t find better prices all at one place. We just did a grocery shopping trip and spent $280 for Christmas and I know the savings was well over $100 I just can’t find the receipt! I did find one from last month with a savings of $107.
I am impressed with the sale going on right now, I stocked up on things that are usually more expensive. They had Progresso Soups for only $1.11. I’ve purchased them at $2.50 and up! I also got mayonnaise at half the price. For more deals, you can sign-up for their email savings to get coupons and sales sent directly to your email.
Through the last week they’ve been offering coupons where you can get something free with a $20 minimum purchase. They offered things like a free bag of salad, sausage links, and chocolate chips.
Coupons
They also have coupons you can print online, or even load directly on to your card. I set up my Vons Club Card and I can add load digital coupons directly on to it. If you want, you can just load every coupon they offer onto your card and then if you happen to buy that item, the coupon is added at checkout.
With items like Pillsbury biscuits I can add a digital coupon, then have a printed coupon as well. My local Vons doubles coupons to a dollar, so after using that, it makes them free, or nearly free!

Last Minute Recipes
Vons/Safeway has great last minute recipes. You may even notice at your local store they have recipe cards by their meat counter. If you are cooking a turkey for Christmas you may want to check out their 2 hour turkey recipe to save you some time.
The Honey-Mustard Pork and Nectarine Kabob recipe also looks great! I never cook meat with sweet food, so it might be a nice change and something new.

I only have a Safeway here in my town in Wyoming but as a flight attendant I would shop at Von’s on overnights and always found a good deal….thank you for the chance to win
I love Vons, especially their soups, bakery, and what I call the olive bar, where you can get all sorts of different marinated olives, peppers, cheeses…mmmmm….
I love that you can load the coupons right onto your Vons card. That sounds so convient. I wish more places did that so that we didn’t have to remember to carry around the coupons all of the time. We have a Vons here but I don’t shop there much. Knowing about the coupon thing though I may start. I hope I win!!!

We have a Safeway about a mile away, and it’s awesome! The people are helpful, and I matched a great deal for some dog treats for next to nothing. We could always use more grocery money

I only get to Von’s spradically when we visit friends and family in California, but I’ve always found them to be clean and bright which gives me a good impression right away. It’s been easy to find what we’re looking for, too. In the LA area, we’ve gotten discount tickets to Disneyland, there, too. It’s a great way to save some dollars!
I shop at Safeway and love it there. Clerks are helpful and sales are good, with coupons help I can always get great deal there.
I learned that some Vons doubles coupons up to a dollar.
Vons is just down the street. I like how they actually have food items that I’m looking for when they are on sale. I have noticed, however, that their prices are slighted higher than competitors. Could be why inventory is in stock! LOL!
