Spook-tacular Freebies for Halloween

We like to do freebie round-ups for each holiday to help our members make the most of their freebie hunting and since it’s that spooky time of the year, we’ve put together the most current Halloween related freebie and sample offers!  Keep checking back through out October because the list of freebies is sure to grow! 🙂

NEW  A few restaurants are letting kids, in costumes and with a paying adult, eat free on Halloween or a few days before Halloween.  See each individual link for specific details: Don Pablo’s, CiCi’s Pizza, Tijuana Flats, Hometown Buffet, Boston Market, TGIFriday’s, participating Applebee’s locations.  Also, Chipotle Mexican Grill will be offering $2 burritos to ANY person that comes in wearing a costume, from 6pm-10pm on 10/31/11.

Toys “R” Us stores will be having a Halloween event on Saturday, 10/29 from 12 noon to 3pm.  Kids and families are invited to visit their local Toys“R”Us store to celebrate Halloween two days early where they can participate in “Geoffrey’s Halloween Parade!” Kids can come dressed in their favorite costume, enjoy fun activities and giveaways while supplies last, and take Geoffrey’s Halloween Safety Pledge.

CVS stores will be offering a free $5 gift pack for any child who comes in costume to their local CVS/pharmacy on 10/23,  while supplies last. Visit their events page for more information.

Build-A-Bear Workshop stores nationwide are having a Kooky Spooky Bear Bash from 10/28 – 10/31!  Come in costume for free virtual gifts and samples of the new Quaker Chewy Granol Smashbar!

IHOP will give away a free Scary Face Pancake to children 12 and under.  This offer is valid on 10/28 only and is good from 7am to 10pm (one per child).  No coupon necessary.

Brunswick Bowling has released new printable trick or treat coupons, each good for a free game of bowling from 10/31 – 11/23 at any participating location.  Coupons are valid for kids age 15 and under and is not valid on shoe rental.  Find your local participating Brunswick Bowling alley here.

Michael’s craft stores will be having free craft events every weekend through the end of October.  Make costumes, decorations, paint a scary pumpkin, and more! Make sure to grab their printable coupon if you plan on doing any shopping.

Petco’s annual Howl-O-Ween pet costume contest will be held at stores on 10/29 from 1pm-2pm, however you may want to call your local store to verify times and dates.  Bring your pet in a fun or frightening costume for a chance to win prizes! Pet costumes will be judged on creativity, originality, attention to detail and how well they suit their pet’s personality.  Also, they are offering free printable pet masks and stencils on their website.

The Pumpkin Wizard and Better Homes & Gardens are both offering free printable pumpkin carving patterns and stencils to help you have the spookiest pumpkin on the block!

Kraft Foods Halloween Center has a great collection of free recipes, crafts, and tips to make your Halloween party extra special!  There are some great ideas on the Kraft Canada site as well.

AllFreeHolidayCrafts is offering up this great free eBook with 11 easy Halloween craft and decorating ideas.

Mr. Food is offering a free Halloween eBook, filled with treats for kids of all ages.
