The California Wine Club

Some of the best House Parties and free items are from alcohol companies or related items. Since they are so rare it seems like they give out some great stuff. One thing I’ve always wanted to get is wine! If you like wine too, I want to tell you about a great offer.

The California Wine Club is a perfect gift for people who enjoy wine. Not sure what to get someone as a gift? You can’t go wrong with a decent bottle of wine. But what if you don’t know what’s “good”?

I had never received wine in the mail before, but the process was simple. The only downside was that the delivery person was attractive and I had barely woken up my wine arrived. I got over it though ;)

I received my package pretty fast, a red and a white. 2008 ZinMan Zinfandel and 2009 El Dorado Chardonnay to be more specific. I enjoyed both wines with a friend. I would definitely get them again, even though they are typically what I buy when I’m looking for wine.

Receiving things in the mail that I don’t know EXACTLY what is coming, is pretty exciting. Plus since I enjoy wine and trying new kinds, it’s fun too.

    Neat! I wouldn’t mind trying the Gewürztraminer mostly because I’ve never heard of that kind and I don’t even know how to pronounce it should I try to order it somewhere!

    Livingston-Moffett Winery 1998 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is the wine I would like to try. :)

    As long as it’s red, I’d love it! I’m the least picky when it comes to red wine. Whites and blushes are just too sweet for me.

    I just happened to notice something above about the “two rules” you stated that you have to be “UNDER 21″, don’t you mean “OVER 21″?? Just curious!! :)

    No Riesling, but I would love to try the Paul Hobbs Winery 2008 Ulises Valdez Vineyard, Russian River Valley Pinot Noir.

    I’m no “wine-o” but I do love to try it! Once I find one I really like, it’s hard to get me to switch… lol, I’d really like to try the Schramsberg Vineyards 2007 Brut Rose… I love the strawberry/rasperry mixes… and it’d be a perfect sip after baby is born! :)

    I tried Red Velvet from the Cupcake Wineries..and I Fell in LOVVVEEE…but I have not tried anything else that have yet, so I would love to!

    I am not very picky when it comes to wine as long as it isn’t too sweet. I drink a glass or two of red wine most days because it is a nice relaxer in the evening, and it is healthier, but I also like sunset blush, and some white wines. This would be great to try!

    Great contest! I’ve never been a wine fan but my sister is trying to train me! Everytime I go over to her house, she hands me a glass, I’m working on White Zinfandels and Rieslings so far, so maybe another white wine that’s in that family! I don’t think I’ll like reds yet! Olive Oil wine sounds interesting!

    I have tried several wines before and found that white it better suited for me. The red wines are just to bitter for my taste. I would love to try Pinot Grigio/Pinot
