Wanchai Ferry Review and Giveaway

Wanchai Ferry

Last week I tried Wanchai Ferry frozen entrees. I was sent a Wanchai Ferry “Perfect Night In” prize pack with everything you’d need for the perfect night in.

Wanchai Ferry is similar to the pasta and other frozen food where you cook them in a pan yourself. I chose the Orange Chicken flavor, it also comes with rice. I thought it was pretty good flavor, and the rice was definitely good. However, the meal stated it was for 2. I finished the meal and wasn’t completely full. There is only a few pieces of chicken in it, so that could definitely be improved.

The cooking part was pretty easy and definitely fun to do, especially if you are a beginner. The instructions aren’t as clear, but no frozen meals really are.

There are other flavors like Shrimp Lo Mein, Spicy Garlic Chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. The meals only take about 15-20 minutes so you can just heat up your pan and start cooking.

Overall I would like to try the other flavors, and compare which one are the best. With a coupon, and a sale, you could probably get a good deal on these.

Coupon

The downside to this product is that it is a little on the expensive side. However head on over to WanchaiFerry.com to print out a $1.50 off coupon.

Buy It

After you print out your coupon, head over to your local Target. Since this product is so new, you may have trouble finding it (I did).

To find it in a store near you, visit the store locator, and put in your area code and type in “Wanchai Ferry”.

Spicy Garlic Chicken sounds good to me :) as long as it doesn’t have food dye in it (i’m allergic)

My perfect night in would be board games with the family, the us all sit down to watch a movie while eating dinner. Then for dessert I would have something made for them ;D
Basically, just some R&R, which we all need. <3

I do enjoy Wanchai Ferry, however,as you said, it is a bit pricey. I usually only purchase when I have a coupon! All of the flavors are quite yummy. My perfect night would be quiet time, all alone, in a clean house and a good book!!!

I would try the Orange chicken. I am a single mom of a 4 year old girl and 3 year old boy, they don’t like spicey food yet! A perfect night in for me would be a clean house, healthy kids that go to bed on time! In turn that would leave me an hour of “me” time, which is rare!

I love anything with rice, but the Orange Chicken sounds really yummy. A perfect night for me would be a meal that didn’t make anybody complain or make yuck faces, followed by a visit from the kitchen cleaning fairy.

My perfect night would be a romantic dinner with my husband. Get a nice bottle of wine, set the table with candles, and cook him dinner. Have it all ready by the time he comes home. Then we’d rent movies and lay in bed…eatting desert. hehehe

    Laura Cashman says:

Ohh sweet and sour chicken is my son and mine’s favorite Chinese takeout! He thinks they’re Chinese chicken nuggets haha.

My perfect night in would be eating dinner off paper plates (no dishes to wash ;-) !) getting the kids in bed on time – a girl can dream can’t she? – then relaxing with the hubby to the sounds of a quiet house and maybe a good movie…and actually staying awake to enjoy it haha!

Spicy Garlic Chicken sounds AWESOME! I would love to have a night away from my 4 girls to watch a movie or something at home with my hubby. Most our suppers end up being chicken nuggets, hot dogs, cheese burgers or maybe a pizza (which I do not like) b/c my girls have to be the most stubborn and won’t anything else but those items. So if I get the chance I will send them to my moms and enjoy a night eating real food!!

spicy garlic chicken looks good. What would my perfect night in consist of? Hmmm,How about the guy in my head appears at my front door. lol. The garlic part wouldn’t go over very well in that scenario but we’d enjoy each other’s company anyway. A romance sacrifice for food.lol
