The California Wine Club
The California Wine Club is a perfect gift for people who enjoy wine. Not sure what to get someone as a gift? You can’t go wrong with a decent bottle of wine. But what if you don’t know what’s “good”?
If you join The California Wine Club they take the guesswork out of that. The premier club offers you a choice of 1 red & 1 white wine (or 2 reds or 2 whites) each month for $36.95 plus shipping/tax (total works out to be around $50).
I had never received wine in the mail before, but the process was simple. The only downside was that the delivery person was attractive and I had barely woken up my wine arrived. I got over it though 😉
I received my package pretty fast, a red and a white. 2008 ZinMan Zinfandel and 2009 El Dorado Chardonnay to be more specific. I enjoyed both wines with a friend. I would definitely get them again, even though they are typically what I buy when I’m looking for wine.
Receiving things in the mail that I don’t know EXACTLY what is coming, is pretty exciting. Plus since I enjoy wine and trying new kinds, it’s fun too.
If you are thinking about giving one as a gift, The California Wine Club has offered our readers a special 10% discount. Use promo code freesample at discount. On top of that, they will send an extra bottle FREE just for being one of our readers. There is no obligation to stay past the first month.
There are two rules though, you can’t to be under 21 and they can’t ship to Utah. Sorry!
