Last year I started Coupon Kash. After a few writers contributed I found an awesome mom blogger named Brandy to run the site. She quickly learned about coupons and the site is updated regularly.

Through this time she was suffering health problems. On top of that she didn’t qualify for medical insurance. Towards the end of May she had a large mass removed, about the size of a basketball.

After all the surgery and other ER trips she had to take, her bills are over $12,000! You can find a detailed recount of her story here. She was even refused treatment at one point due to no insurance!

I have done my best to help her out, but I am only one person. Several mom bloggers got together and created BrandysBattle.com and quickly began to organize a fundraiser to start helping Brandy with her growing medical bills.

Shan and other bloggers have accumulated over 50 prizes to bid on. I personally donated a $50 Amazon gift card, as well as a $25 Costco gift card. There are lots more stuff to bid on like gift cards to Starbucks, iTunes, GAP, and Target. There are also some great toys, baby clothes, women’s clothing, candles and a lot of other various items
