The Washington Post reported that Amazon announced that they will begin Sunday deliveries, joining forces with the USPS. Even better is the fact that they will offer the service at regular rates.

This will begin immediately in Los Angeles and New York, then the Washington area and other areas of the US next year.

It seems to me like a smart move for both parties. It allows Amazon to continue to grow and the USPS to possibly recover some of the 21 billion dollars they have lost the last two years.

In my area I had several post offices close around me, so hopefully this will help to keep local post offices around.
