I like to make sure a website is legit or going to honor the deal they provide before I share it. Remember the bad customer service from One Kings Lane? I do! I try to avoid that kind of thing as much as possible. I hate letting our freebie family down!

A reader asked about Cardilly.com and if I knew whether or not it was a good site or if I recommended it. Having never heard of it I went ahead and purchased a $100 Walmart card for $50.

It’s exactly 2 months later today and the order has still not been received.

This is how it went:

Ordered July 26th, 2011
Estimated Delivery August 21st – August 23rd
Contacted August 29th

Funny thing is they got back to me very quickly with this email:

Kind of weird they are “shipping from Canada” but their address when ordered is in Florida…

Regardless I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Contacted again September 13th, 2011 with no response.

Finally I contacted again today and asked for a refund. Assuming I wasn’t going to get one after reading about the scams other people posted I went ahead and called my bank.

Shout out to Chase for handling my dispute extremely well and fast. I should have my money back tomorrow.
