Weekly Cinema
Update: You may remember the post below. Well it seems like Weekly Cinema is going out of business. I know some of our readers signed up for this one. They will be issuing refunds to their current subscribers.
The future of Weekly Cinema is under review. While this review is being performed, we are not able to process or redeem movie ticket coupons. We are working with our deal site partners to achieve a refund for the unused movie tickets and promo codes in your Weekly Cinema account in an amount not to exceed the price you paid for each of the unused movie ticket coupons.
Here is some more information from Weekly Cinema:
We will be issuing refunds to our monthly subscribers based on the number of tickets in their account which have not been used and also the subscription they were signed up for. In order to receive a refund please tell them to contact us via live chat or support@weeklycinema.mojohelpdesk.com and we will be able to process this request in an efficient manner. Also it is not necessary to request a charge back to their [credit card] account as we will be issuing refunds to the customers.
Our refunds will also come quicker than if a user were to request a charge back.
Subscribe to Weekly Cinema to receive one FREE movie ticket, plus 4 tickets every month for $19.99. That’s $5 per ticket (my local theater is $9.50 for Adult matinee!) which is a great deal.
You could sign-up, go redeem your free movie codes at Fandango.com, take your family of 4 to the movies (for $20!) and then come home and cancel if you wanted.
You can redeem your coupon codes at Fandango.com for up to $14 value per ticket towards ANY movie (including IMAX and 3D). If your local theater takes Fandango (most do!).
This is a monthly arrangement, but you can cancel anytime without a fee. However when you cancel, your codes you have won’t work anymore so make sure to use them first. The codes are valid for 3 months.
