Dreft has been a common household name for 75 years, known for their gentle laundry detergent that pediatricians recommend for babies and kids. They sell more than just detergent though! Their laundry detergent comes in the regularly known liquid and powder formulas, as well as liquid for HE machines, while some of their other products are fabric refresher and odor eliminator, multi-surface wipes, multi-surface spray, portable pretreater pen, and spray stain remover!
Dreft sent me 9 samples of their HE liquid laundry detergent to review! This excited me as I have a 1 year old who is sensitive to everything on his skin, and twin girls on their way. So laundry detergent is something I not only go through a lot of, but we have to be picky and buy fancy detergents that have no perfumes or dyes. We’ve been using another big brand name since we found out about my son’s allergies and sensitivity. So I figured I’d get Dreft a try since it’s been a well-known name for a very long time. They’ve been producing great items for babies and their sensitive skins for a lot longer than the other big brand names.
I don’t use fabric softeners being that my son’s skin reacts to them, so trying out a new detergent is something I rarely do as most cause the clothes to get all stiff and weird feeling. I had recently tried out another big name brand who recently introduced their “free & gentle” and found that their formula had a strong cleaner-like smell to it. It made me sick just smelling it. And our clothes smelled odd after washing in it. I have to say that after using Dreft on our next load not only was the smell pleasing, but the softness of our clothes actually shocked me. I tossed them in the dryer and when I pulled out my son’s favorite “blankey” and handed it to him, he was extremely happy. I waited and watched to see his skin’s reaction. Surprisingly enough, nothing! No reaction! I’m definitely a happy washer now!
I’ve washed all our twin girls’ clothes in Dreft now and hung them up in preparations for their arrival within the next month. Their closet smells so fresh and clean, and I know their clothes are soft and going to be nice and gentle on their skin.

Wholly Guacamole provided an amazing cooler full of guacamoles and salsas for me to use for my baby shower. It was a great idea to
throw some guacamole and salsa out there for the hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken, venison and turkey burgers we had planned. The guacamole was an especially great condiment to the spicy turkey burgers we served. It was a major hit!

I kind of want to try out the Guacamole Chicken Salad one night for my family. I love chicken salad!
I’ve used some of it on my eggs and bagels in the morning as well. It spiced up my breakfast and made it not so plain and boring. I’m definitely loving the 100 calorie packs for when I’m on the go in the mornings and need a snack. I eat it while heading to my many doctor’s appointments.
