Brands and marketing campaigns generally try to appeal to women, preferably moms. It’s a smart strategy, but I think a huge market is obviously kids. I will admit it, my son watches too much TV. I constantly hear… “I want that”.

Pillow Pets have done a great job of appealing to kids. Their commercials are catchy and the slogan can get stuck in your head! “It’s a Pillow… It’s a Pet… It’s a Pillow Pet!”

My son was pretty excited to receive his in the mail and promptly started to show it off. He chose a Tiger out of the list of about 20 that are offered.

Overall he likes the pillow. It’s very soft and comfortable, I like to use it as well! The only thing is he doesn’t really use it as a “pet”. To make it a pet you just Velcro it together, but we rarely do that.
